Why should I join myCLEARopinion™ online panel?
There are many different reasons to join. Most panelists feel "making their opinions count" is the number one reason for joining our panel. As a member of myCLEARopinion™, you'll be part of a community of industry professionals and consumers who share valuable insights. Through your anonymous participation you will improve your industry and the future trends of products and services. Your input makes a difference!

How do I join myCLEARopinion™?
To become a member of the panel, just click on the "Click here to join now" button. You will be asked to complete a brief registration profile and to provide some basic information such as e-mail address, name, mailing address, etc. Once this information is submitted, our system will send you a confirmation e-mail. Simply click on the link in the that e-mail to confirm your membership. Please set your e-mail controls to accept mail from support@myclearopinion.com. We do require that you provide a home mailing address and we have security protocols in place to verify address validity.


How much does it cost to participate in myCLEARopinion™?
Participation in myCLEARopinion™ is completely free and voluntary, There is no charge to participate in myCLEARopinion™. In fact, we reward you for your time and insights when you respond to our e-mail invitation and qualify and complete our surveys.


How does it work?
Once you register with myCLEARopinion™ and provide information about yourself in the registration profile survey, you will be matched to online survey opportunities. Each survey contains a brief screening section for qualification purposes. Once you have qualified for and completed the survey, you will earn the rewards associated with that particular study.


Who is eligibe to join myCLEARopinion™?
myCLEARopinion™ is open to anyone over the age of 18 who has a valid e-mail and mailing address. CLEARcash™ rewards are only available to legal residents of the United States, U.S. Territories and Canada.

Why do I need to complete a Registration Profile survey?
The Registration Profile survey allows us to locate surveys that are most suited to your industry, interests, characteristics and location. All profile information is used for classification and statistical purposes. We will never release any personally identifiable information to any thrid party or client.


How do I update or change my profile information, email address, password or display name?
Just go to the homepage and sign-in using your (old) e-mail address and password. Once you sign-in to your myCLEARopinion™ Account, simply click on the "update" button in the upper right hand corner of the page. You may update your user profile information at any time by simply signing-in to your account.


Will myCLEARopinion™ sell my e-mail address?
Absolutely not! We do not share or sell our e-mail lists. myCLEARopinion™ is committed to protecting your privacy. For more detailed information about how we use your personal information, please visit our Privacy Policy section.


Can I join the panel and earn rewards if I am not a U.S. Citizen? How do I change the language in which I view myCLEARopinion™ online research site and receive surveys?
At this time, myCLEARopinion™ is open to all panelists age 18 years or older who have a valid e-mail and mailing address. However CLEARcash™ rewards are only available to those panel members who are currently residing in the United States, U.S. Territories or Canada. The myCLEARopinion™ site is only available in English.


Can other members of my household become panelists?
Yes, other members of your household may join our panel. However, they must have their own e-mail address and maintain their own myCLEARopinion™ account.


Who will see my profile survey answers? How does myCLEARopinion™ and its clients use the answers I provide?
myCLEARopinion™ reports all of our profile survey results in aggregate. This means that all your information is combined with other panel member's information into similar groupings. Your opinions and industry expertise will help clients address a wide range of business issues, questions, services and offerings. No personally identifiable information is ever provided to a client or third party organization.


Why am I not receiving any e-mail from myCLEARopinion™?
myCLEARopinion™ will only send e-mail to members who have confirmed their e-mail address. If you recently joined myCLEARopinion™, it is possible that you have not yet confirmed your account. Please check your Inbox and/or Junk or Spam folders for the Membership Confirmation e-mail. Follow the instructions provided in the e-mail to confirm and activate your myCLEARopinion™ membership.


If you have already confirmed your account, it is possible that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is utilizing a Spam filtering software. This software may cause e-mails sent from myCLEARopinion™ to be mistakenly identified as Spam and will not allow the e-mails to be delivered to your e-mail Inbox. Please add the following e-mail addresses to your address book and Trusted Senders lists in order to ensure that myCLEARopinion™ e-mail is not misidentified as Spam:

If you joined myCLEARopinon™ using your work e-mail account, it may be necessary to contact your company's e-mail administrator and ask that the above e-mail addresses be added to the list of Safe Senders.


Where is the e-mail confirming that I have signed up to be a member of myCLEARopinion™?
Our confirmation e-mail is sent as soon as you complete your registration. It is mailed directly to the e-mail address you provided upon registration. In some cases, the e-mail is directed to your Spam or Junk mail folder. Please make sure to set your e-mail controls to accept e-mails from support@myclearopinion.com and the myclearopinion.com domain name.


Do you provide incentives or rewards for referring people to your site?
Obviously we would like to make sure that access is provided to as many potential members as possible, however, we must adhere to Federal SPAM laws and make sure that our membership is supported, and all current and future members are contacted properly. Currently, we do not offer an incentive program for referrals.


How do I cancel my account?
To cancel your membership, please log-in to your account and click on the "update" button located in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the User Profile Information section and click on the "Unsubscribe" button located under the "Cancel my membership" heading. You will be redirected to a screen that asks you to confirm the cancellation. Once you have cancelled your membership, your account cannot be reactivated at a later date.

Once you have unsubscribed/cancelled your account, your membership cannot be reactivated.

Survey Questions
Where can I find surveys posted on your website?
We will always send you an e-mail invitation when a new survey has been activated for you. If you wish to check our website for new survey opportunities, you must be a member AND sign-in to your account. Once you have logged-in to your account, there will be an area devoted to currently available surveys in your myCLEARopinion™ Account under the "Take A survey" heading.

How do I know when I've been selected to participate in a survey? Does every panelist get an invitation to participate in a survey?
If you are selected to participate in a survey, we will send you an e-mail invitation. The e-mail message will include a link to the online survey. To access the survey, you may click on the link in your e-mail OR copy and paste the survey URL in the invitation into your broswer. Not every panelist is invited to every survey. However, we conduct many surveys a month and use your panelist profile to help qualify you for a survey. We will always contact you via e-mail when new surveys are available that align with your profile information. Additionally, you may sign-in to your myCLEARopinion™ Account and check for available surveys listed under the "Take A Survey" heading.

Why have I not received any surveys yet?
Sometimes it may take a while to match your data with an appropriate study. We encourage you to keep your profile data up-to-date and as accurate as possible. The more information we have, the more we are able to target surveys that fit your profile.

How long do I have to respond to a survey invitation?
Each survey is different but every survey is closed when we have reached the pre-determined number of completed surveys. The number of panelists required varies from survey to survey. We suggest you take the survey as soon as possible and recommend that you register using an e-mail address you check frequently.

Why was the survey so short? It ended after only a few questions.
Each survey contains "screener" questions. These questions allow our clients to ensure they are receiving ONLY those panelists that match their demographic requirements. Screener questions usually only take a minute or two to complete before you are disqualified from the survey.

Why was the survey closed when I went to take it?
There are two possible reasons that a survey was closed when you clicked on the link to take the study. Occasionally, surveys fill very quickly and meet their demographic quota quicker than anticipated, OR the e-mail invitation was not a recent invitation and was for an older study that has been closed for a while. Either way, we apologize if the survey was closed when you went to take it. You may sign-in to your myCLEARopinion™ Account to check for more survey opportunities or check your e-mail for more invitations.

The survey I am taking asks me for information that you previously asked for in my registration profile. Why do I need to provide that information again?
We want to be sure that we have the most accurate and correct information about you and your household. Sometimes we may ask you to repeat information contained in your registration profile in order to ensure that our information is correct. Additionally, the information contained within our profiles is combined with other member's information and reported in summary. When a specific client wants this data, it must be provided to them directly on a question-by-question basis. This is why you are sometimes asked the same or similar questions in surveys.

I am uncomfortable with questions in this survey. I do not feel this survey is appropriate for me.
All surveys are optional. Your membership is voluntary and we will not force you to participate in a specific survey. There will be plenty of other opportunities waiting for you.

How long does it take to complete a survey?
Each survey length varies from project to proejct. Your e-mail invitation will state the estimated length of each survey. However, some factors, such as connection speed, can effect the time it takes to complete each study.

The survey is taking longer than I expected and I do not have time to finish right now. Can I take it again later? What should I do?
Some surveys may allow you to re-enter again later and pick up where you left off and other surveys do not allow re-entry. This option is on a survey-by-survey basis and we cannot guarantee that any survey will be available for completion at a later time.

What information is recorded during my visit to myCLEARopinion™ surveys and/or website?
When you visit myCLEARopinion™, our web servers may record the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP), the website from which you visit us and the date and duration of your visit. Some data is also partially collected by "cookies". A "cookie" is a piece of text that is stored on your computer by your web browser. It is used for authentication, storing site preferences, as an identifier for a server-based session, etc. "Cookies" do not have personally identifiable information about you. Most web browsers will automatically accept &quotcookies". However, your web browser may be programmed so that your computer will not accept "cookies". You always have the option to deny the installation of "cookies" on your computer. myCLEARopinion™ primarily uses "session based cookies". These are generally used in assisting the navigation of the site and are only stored in the working memory of your computer. It is generally deleted off your computer after you have closed your browser.

Does myCLEARopinion™ host/run all surveys that I take?
No. Sometimes myCLEARopinion™ will pass you to a survey that is being hosted by one of our partners. You are passed out of the myCLEARopinion™ system and into our partner site. The partner site WILL NOT collect any personally identifiable information and myCLEARopinion™ keeps all personal information confidential and will only provide it to a partner in an aggregated form.

I saw your name on a list of companies that said "Get Paid to Take Surveys" or in an advertisement that says you can make money by taking surveys. When I checked, it asked me to buy a list of survey companies. Is this legitimate?
Unfortunately, myCLEARopinion™ cannot monitor every company that offers these sorts of lists nor can we keep our name off every list. There are many companies that claim that you can make up to $100 per survey. These companies typically charge you for a list of survey companies. We are NOT affiliated with any of these companies and make no promises of payment earnings or amount in total or on a per survey basis. We do offer incentives for all qualifying surveys but do not promise that everyone will qualify for every survey.

Technical Assistance
I tried to take the survey and received the message "I'm sorry, but you have already completed this survey".
We only allow one survey submission per panel member. Please contact us at techsupport@myclearopinion.com if you feel you have received this message in error. Please copy and paste the entire survey link you are using into the e-mail. If you are a member of another survey panel, it is possible that you already participated in the survey through another company's invitation.

I tried to hit the "back" button on my web browser while taking a survey and it will not let me return to the previous question.
Unfortunately, some surveys have the "back" button functionality disabled. This is done to protect the integrity of the data we collect. Please make sure to double-check your answers before hitting the "submit" or "next" buttons.

I forgot my username and/or password.
Please click on the "forgot password" link on the login page. An e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address with instructions on how to re-set your password. Your username is your registered e-mail address.

I am taking a survey and my answers are not being accepted. I keep getting an error message when I submit the page that tells me my answers are invalid. What do I do?
Double check that you are answering the questions in the proper format. The question might state that it only accepts a numerical answer and you are entering letters or it might require an answer to every field and you are leaving some fields blank. After you have checked the format of the question and if you have determined that there is still a problem, please contact us at techsupport@myclearopinion.com and provide as much information about the survey as possible and will investigate the issue.

CLEARcash™ Rewards
Does myCLEARopinion™ provide incentives for participation in surveys? How does myCLEARopinion™ pay members' for participation in surveys?
Yes, we provide CLEARcash™ points for all qualifying and completed surveys. You provide a valuable service to us by sharing your opinions. We, in turn, wish to reward you for your time and effort. Every survey invitation will have a point value clearly stated in the e-mail invitation. When you successfully qualify and complete that survey, you will earn that point amount. If you do not qualify for a survey, you will be entered into our monthly drawing for a chance to win a $100 American Express gift check. You may track your earnings in your myCLEARopinion™ Account. Monthly drawings are run at the beginning of each new month. Point earnings are automatically redeemed once a quarter. The CLEARcash™ quarterly redemption schedule is:

  • For all points accrued in January, February and March, accounts are redeemed the first week of April (provided a minimum of 500 CLEARcash™ points have been earned). If accounts do not meet the minimum, the points will roll-over to the next redemption date.
  • For all points accrued in April, May and June, accounts are redeemed the first week of July (provided a minimum of 500 CLEARcash™ points have been earned). If accounts do not meet the minimum, the points will roll-over to the next redemption date.
  • For all points accrued in July, August and September, accounts are redeemed the first week of October (provided a minimum of 500 CLEARcash™ points have been earned). If accounts do not meet the minimum, the points will roll-over to the next redemption date.
  • For all points accrued in October, November and December, accounts are redeemed the first week of January (provided a minimum of 500 CLEARcash™ points have been earned). If accounts do not meet the minimum, the points will roll-over to the next redemption date.

 

How do I enter the drawing?
If you take a survey and do not qualify for completion, you are automatically entered into our monthly drawing. You receive one entry for every survey from which you are disqualified. The winners of the drawings will be notified by e-mail and drawing rewards will be sent independently from the CLEARcash™ rewards.

What are my odds of winning a drawing?
The chances of winning are based on the number of responses/entries we receive for the surveys during the drawing month time frame. The more surveys in which you participate the more chances you have to win.

How does myCLEARopinion™ notify the drawing winners?

As soon as the winners are selected, myCLEARopinion™ will send an e-mail message to notify them. We ask that each winner reply to the message to confirm receipt of the notification and to verify their myCLEAROpinion™ member information. If the panel member fails to respond to the message by the date specified in the e-mail notification, we reserve the right to choose an alternate winner for the drawing.

Why does my account show a zero points balance when I just completed a survey?

Not all surveys will be automatically updated to your CLEARcash™ points balance. While we would like to have your points balance remain as accurate as possible, some surveys may take two to four weeks to credit to your account. If you still feel there is an error, please contact us at clearcash@myclearopinion.com. If possible, please include the survey link (from the e-mail invitation) for the survey that has not been credited. If the survey link is unavailable, please provide as much information as possible about the survey. A myCLEARopinion™ representative will respond within two business days.

Why have I not received my CLEARcash™ rewards yet?

CLEARcash™ payments are redeemed and processed as follows:

  • For all points accrued in January, February and March, accounts are redeemed the first week of April (provided a minimum of 500 CLEARcash™ points have been earned). If accounts do not meet the minimum, the points will roll-over to the next redemption date.
  • For all points accrued in April, May and June, accounts are redeemed the first week of July (provided a minimum of 500 CLEARcash™ points have been earned). If accounts do not meet the minimum, the points will roll-over to the next redemption date.
  • For all points accrued in July, August and September, accounts are redeemed the first week of October (provided a minimum of 500 CLEARcash™ points have been earned). If accounts do not meet the minimum, the points will roll-over to the next redemption date.
  • For all points accrued in October, November and December, accounts are redeemed the first week of January (provided a minimum of 500 CLEARcash™ points have been earned). If accounts do not meet the minimum, the points will roll-over to the next redemption date.

Do my CLEARcash™ points expire?
No, reward points do not expire unless fraudulent activity has occurred. If fraud is suspected, your myCLEARopinion™ account will be deactivated. myCLEARopinion™ accounts are active for the duration of your membership as long as you remain an active participant in our panel (respond on a regular basis to survey invitations). If you choose to unsubscribe from myCLEARopinion™, your account will be zeroed-out and a gift code will be sent to you for the remaining balance owed at the next redemption date following your unsubscribe request.
